Immerse yourself in the power of music and the echoes of history in Stockholm’s Old Town! Nobel Prize Museum, Medieval Museum, and Storkyrkan invite you to a journey through time and sound. In English.
During the summer evening event “Tunes in the Old Town,” history, knowledge, and music are woven together. A combined ticket gives you access to a guided tour, a walk, and a concert.
At the Nobel Prize Museum, you'll hear about Nobel Laureates and their connections to music. The Medieval Museum offers a short walk that highlights the role of music in medieval Stockholm — from the city’s jesters and pipers to the church’s songs and rituals.
The evening concludes with an atmospheric organ concert in the magnificent Storkyrkan, over 700 years old. Here, the music of Johann Sebastian Bach takes on new expression.
Before the concert, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore the church interior on your own — something that normally requires a separate entrance ticket.
