Elevator to Strömparterren

The elevator is located at the northern stairs towards the Gustav Adolfs torg and the Opera. From the elevator, a paved way leads to the museum’s entrance.

Entrance

The entrance is wheelchair accessible, with automatic door opener.

Stairs

Inside the museum there are stairs in the “Big Town House”, which makes its upper level inaccessible to some visitors. Apart from that there are always alternatives to stairs, such as ramps. The museum is one floor.

Toilet

Accessible toilets are available.

Wheelchair

A wheelchair can be borrowed at the museum.

Cobblestone floor

Inside the museum there is a cobblestone floor on the “Main Square” of the exhibition.

Hearing loop

Hearing loop available at the entrance and in the movie theater.

Audio guide

Audio guides are available in Swedish, simplified Swedish, English, German, French and Russian.

Guided tours

Pre-booked guided tours can be tailored for your specific needs.

A wheelchair is no obstacle for participation in the guided tours in the museum. Please let your guide know if you have any non-visible disabilities.
